There is no expectation to look or feel the same as others in a class as we all carry our personal history and traumas in the body and the mind.
Here you will find a nurturing and therapeutic style, building the strength to approach asanas in a careful way, similar to how one may attempt to build strength and awareness to navigate through life.
Classes are 1 hour and 15 min to allow for enough time to listen to your body and give time to your inner self. We use breath awareness, posture work, sensitisation of joins and proprioception, which is a somatic approach to yoga.
Weekly classes in term time are at the Scout Hut, Canterbury Road S8 9QS and in Hathersage at Alpkit, Main Road S32 1BB
